Response to the earthquake and the tsunami
The Jewish Community of Japan is partnering with the JDC, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, in raising funds to be transferred to the NGO JEN. JEN is a Japan based NGO that has extensive experience aiding victims of natural disasters throughout the world. You can make a donation to the JDC by mail or phone.

As the situation on the ground is rapidly changing, funds provided by the JCJ may also be utilized for other purposes depending on the immediate needs of those individuals effected by the earthquake. We have also established a separate bank account and all the funds collected through it will also be given to JEN.
